He has been marked by the Lotus for assassination for upsetting the balance in the system by killing several political opponents. Councilor Vay HekĬouncilor Vay Hek is the administrator of Earth on behalf of the Grineer Queens. First appearing at the end of the Vor's Prize quest and thus being the first boss that players must fight, he also serves as the boss of Mercury he then appears again, somehow fully alive, on Ceres alongside Lieutenant Lech Kril, then appearing later yet again as a Corrupted version of himself within the Void. The key, which he refered as "Janus Key" also grants him a powerful ranged beam attack.Ĭaptain Vor can be encountered in three locations currently, making him the most recurring boss in the game aside from the assassins.

Vor is one of the few figures in the Origin System that understand ancient Orokin technology, and is capable of utilising it and merging it with Grineer technology to create offensive weapons such as his trademark Seer pistol and his armour, which is powered by a Void Key. He is also the first boss that players will be required to defeat. VorĬaptain Vor is the Grineer officer responsible for the players' awakening in the opening moments of WARFRAME. They are stronger counterparts of high rank officials within their own factions and are outfitted with superior weaponry, higher health and shields compared to the normal infantry. Baro Ki'Teerīaro Ki'Teer, known as the Void Trader, is a merchant who appears infrequently in the Concourse of Relays, selling rare and exclusive equipment. He has rivalries with Alad V and Councilor Vay Hek, but is at a neutral standpoint against the Tenno. Frohd Bekįrohd Bek, father of Darvo, is a member of the Corpus Board. He provides various deals and discounts to the Tenno. Darvoĭarvo is a Corpus rebel who resides on the top floor of the Relay, selling merchandise. It manages the various systems on the ship, as well as assisting the Tenno. Ordis is an Orokin AI on board the Liset. The Lotus guides Tenno through missions by prompting them as to their objective, informing them of additional objectives, information on enemy activity ahead and giving lore for bosses. Throughout the game players will physically encounter these characters either in a Mission or a Quest. It is unknown whether more characters will be added to the game in future updates. Often referred to as Non-Player Characters (NPC's), they will only state scripted lines either triggered by a timer, event, or character action. Characters are beings who speak to the players.
